Bug can’t use hyphens on mobile

For some reason, whenever I try to use hyphens, or any punctuation it seems, in the game message window on safari, it says they are “non-standard characters”
My browser version is: (do not change)
Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 11_2_1 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/604.4.7 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/11.0 Mobile/15C153 Safari/604.1

I have that problem too. I just copy the -- someone else used and paste it in the chat box around what I want to say my character is doing or trying to do or wants to do etc.

From what I understand there are two slightly different dashes, one of which Fabletop doesn't like; a similar thing happens when word processors correct the standard '-' to the other dash (which I believe is slightly longer). I'd guess that the longer non-standard dash is the standard on most mobile keyboards?

I reported this problem back in November, so Frost at least knows about this.
