Overly Aggressive Chat Flood Checker

I've noticed over the past few days that whatever program seems to be checking for whether or not the Chat is being flooded seems to be overly aggressive, or at least moreso than it was before. I am somewhat of a fast typer, so in game conversations or OOC chat I tend to probably be contributing more to a conversation than people if I am involved. This never used to be a problem, but in the last few days I have been getting a 'Please don't flood the chat window. Thanks!' message when all that is present from me in the chat window is one or two lines and I am attempting to say something in response to the developing situation in the chat room. Does anyone else have this problem? Has the Spam/Flood checker been tweaked, or is it something else I'm doing?
