Single Player, Multiple Characters

Would it be possible to have more than one character per player? This would help in games where only one or two individuals manage to make it to the game.

Not really, but you could pretty easily just spawn another mini and run them as an NPC companion.

Yeah, that's what I did today, and just opened up a tab on their character sheet, as they were logged out. Actually, they were having connection issues. And it seems to have affected most people that had been in my group as well. Is that a common problem? Finally, would it be possible for a GM running a game, with understanding from all involved players, be able to edit the character sheet of their player if it is being played by an NPC?

To clarify, I actually don't recommend playing player characters as NPCs, because most people don't like things happening to their characters without them being around. And creating that kind of continuity isn't usually worth the effort.

OTOH, if you just want a slightly bigger party, you can just spawn an NPC companion that isn't associated with a player.
