mind if i join on in as the party's tank where he almost never attacks but only defends for himself and for others preventing damage?

the character idea im going with is that he never attacks only gets in the way of enemy attacks and prevent damage to other players having everything mainly focus on him

Physical Description: Toko has an appearance of bluish black hair that's just long enough to be seen with his own eyes, a pair of greenish blue eyes, a strangely feminine face, a long brown scarf around his neck...he seems to really like the scarf, he is about 6'2, some long arms and legs, wearing a light brown shirt with two stripes that go all the way around on the upper part of his body and some black pants.

Backstory: he was born and raised in Halin for about 2 decades with his mother and sisters before going out on his own to get money to send back home for his own family to stay safe and be well and in hopes to acquire enough money to cure one of his sisters disease that she got about a week before he headed out into the world to get money and riches for his own family though his mother always told him to "never harm people even if they hit you take the punches and show them who they are messing with" so on his way out he bought some metal armor and a big shield not buying a sword only armor and a shield
