The Shadowrun game mechanics are based entirely on a 6-sided dice system.
Shadowrun is a science fantasy tabletop role-playing game set in a near-future fictional universe in which cybernetics, magic and fantasy creatures co-exist. It combines genres of cyberpunk, urban fantasy and crime, with occasional elements of conspiracy fiction, horror and detective fiction.

We do not count ammo, or use ammo count for the guns and firearms.

As magic returned to the world, Humans began to give birth to infants of these races, a phenomenon called Unexplained Genetic Expression, or "UGE"

The world has changed…
Magic is no longer just for fairy tales. It’s real. While technology has merged with flesh to challenge the strength of old world sorcery. Now people are more than just people; after an unexplained genetic event, some of them have developed traits that have left them labeled as elves, dwarfs, orks, and trolls. And dragons aren’t just in picture books–they’re very real, and they’re running nations and some of the biggest corporations in the world. People call it the Sixth World, and it’s not a friendly place. Mega corporations have ruthlessly consolidated power, and they make everyone, from the lowliest sage slave to the most powerful government leader, dance to their tune. Many people sell their lives to these megacorps, believing they have no choice. But there are a few who have the skills, the guts and the nerve to stay independent, finding a way to live in the gray areas of a world not built for them. They can survive–and if they’re real lucky–thrive in the corners and shadows of the world. They’re outlaws, but they’re tolerated by the powers of the world because they’re useful. They are called shadowrunners.
Set in a dystopian near-future, a world where cybernetics, biotech, cyberpunk, and metahumanity meet magic, and mega corporations have become independent states, Shadowrun allows you to experience a truly unique mix of gritty cyberpunk style known from Bladerunner and the magical creatures and races of settings such as Lord of the Rings. The Awakening has brought forth ancient races from Orks, Dwarves, Trolls, and Elves to mythical animals and even powerful, intelligent dragons, who use their horded treasures to purchase and run global megacorporations.
Technology has changed mankind- cyberware can make you stronger, faster and smarter. Augmented senses and organs can be bought from illegal street clinics, and you can even experience the Matrix itself by moving your consciousness into the endless stream of data.
Though technology is pervasive in every sprawl of every city, there are a lot of cracks between the giant corporate structures where the shadows are run deep. If you want a job done and don't want to dirty your hands, you hire a Shadowrunner - a deniable asset, living beyond the reach of the law and the ultimate survivor in the urban jungle.
Hackers, Riggers, Combat Mages and Street Samurai will take on the most dangerous missions - for a price. You and your team, will run the shadows, becoming part of the underground elite, and experiencing adrenaline filled adventures such as infiltrating a hidden corporate lab, fighting chromed-up mercs over a secret magic formula, spying on a crime syndicate, even perhaps sabotaging an almighty AI on the brink of controlling the Matrix, while looking for the deeper meaning, that may reveal the machinations of major players behind the scenes. Do you have what it takes to run the shadows, chummer? Do you have what it takes to survive?

All drones requires a datajack, if you are not a Rigger.

Characters may be retired at any time, if you so wish.

The Nuyen (pronounced New Yen), symbol ¥ is the currency in the game.

+Leveling+
Every 5 XP is a level, and it works like Karma, from shadowrun 4e.
With a level, you may put a point in Your dice pools in traits, or put a point in health and power.
At 20 Xp, you gain an essence point.
At 30 Xp, you get the trait NewBlood: 1 - Been around. ShadowWalker. Known.
At 40 Xp, you gain an Essence point.
At 50 Xp, you gain another Etiquette.
At 60 Xp, you get the trait Survivor: 1 - Been all over. ShadowRunner. Well Known.
At 80 Xp, you get an essence point.
At 90 Xp, you get the trait Veteran: Been everywhere. ShadowMaster. Known By all.
At 100 Xp, you become a legend.

DataJack- Datajacks are cybertechnology implants that allow metahumans to directly access computers and information with their mind. They typically resemble a coin-sized dataport that is implanted either on the side of the head (typically in the temporal region of the skull, behind the ear or on the temple) or the back of the neck (just below the brainstem), although a datajack can be placed anywhere in the body. Datajacks are the most common cybertechnology enhancement and are essential for rigging and decking. Essence cost, 0.5.

VM sockets (Vision Magnification)- Renraku's basic cyber-eye replacements extend and enhance your vision. Essence cost, 0.75.

Shiawase Bone Lacing- Kevlar Shiawase's hi-tech alpha bone lacing uses a Kevlar coating (adds DR of 1 to all damage) Essence cost, 1.
BrightLight System- High-energy flashbulbs hidden in a cyber-eye. Capable of temporarily blinding an opponent. Essence cost, 0.5.
Silver Tech Cyber-arm- Silver Tech's basic replacement limb. Essence cost, 1.
Wired Reflexes With Reflex Trigger- When triggered, you will dodge the first attack against you, limit one time per encounter, and only first hit. (uses one power) Essence cost, 1.
Sleep Regulator- No sleep is needed for 56 Hour periods of time Essence cost, 0.5.
Trauma Damper- Never get K-O'ed, and have penalties from pains. Essence cost, 0.5.
Body Compartment- Hide a small object within the body. Essence cost, 0.5.
Boosted Reflexes- Faster reaction, Suffers from hyper activity. Essence cost, 0.5.
Commlink- Small radio transit within the ear, link-able. Essence cost, 0.25.
Crainial Cyberdeck- A small CPU within your brain. Needs Commlink. Essence cost, 1.
Recorder- Record your sight, and hearing. Needs Commlink. Essence cost, 0.25.
Blood Filter- Stops infections and poisons. Essence cost, 1.
Fangs- Retractible fangs within your mouth, can be hidden. Essence cost, 0.75.
Arm Weapon- Mount a small weapon upon your limb, and fire at whim. Essence cost, 1.
Metabolic Arrester- Repair body. One health daily. Essence cost, 0.5.
