=== The Awakened ===

Stone Age

The Awakened came from humble beginnings, in the deserts of the south-east of the world. Their ancient oral history tells of how the god Belenus appeared to them atop the highest hill, and gave unto them a holy mission. They were to cross the desert and find the promised land.

They heeded the command of their lord, and set out on a journey half way across the world. On the way they would encounter and slay mammoths (the famous Awakened warrior Morrigan was renown for wielding a mammoth tusk as a weapon.)

Once they had reached what was near enough the northern edge of the continent, they had word again from their god that they were to settle on the northern edge of the great lake they had come to. After some time gathering resources, they would see to building houses and farms on this land. A very intelligent people, the Awakened became ingenious early architects, and became the early known people to build a permanent settlement. Thanks in part to the help of famous stone age architect Caradoc. And so, in the year 123 the settlement of Beleiron was founded, and the bronze age began, not just for the Awakened, but for the world!

Bronze Age

As the first settlement established in the world, Beleiron is often considered to be the 'Mesopotamia' of this realm. Built along the banks of a lake and adjacent to the forest, the Awakened found the soil here fertile and the forest full of wood to cut and animals to gather. A peaceful people, the Awakened built masses of farms, forsaking all other types of building, not even discovering proper metal making processes during this period. They kept no army and had no defences, relying on numbers alone to scare away enemies.

The Awakened were also the first people to domesticate animals, keeping cattle and dogs in their settlement.

===The White Bolt===

Stone Age

A cat-worshipping sect of Elves from the North-West of the world, the White-Bot were one of the most impressive early civilisations of the world, rising in population more quickly than any other tribe.

Following the god Amo, the White Bolt migrated further West, to a peninsula between an ocean and great lake, where they received a sign from their god in the form of a great lion who appeared to help them hunt. Archaeological evidence suggests that the White-Bolt began settling before even the Awakened, though completion of the village of Margin Hamlet didn't come until later on.
