Necrotic: Mana of the soul, twists all that it touches. (purple)
Infernal: Mana of the corrupt, gains power through sacrifice. (black)
Arcane: Mana of the mind, the power for mortals alone. (blue)
Nature: Mana of the wild, it's the literal force of nature. (green)
Draconic: Mana of destruction, bad stuff to mess with. (red)
Elemental: The four elements, very primal stuff. (yellow)
Mana Gems: Mana gems (color and name is based off of the type of mana it's made of) are made of mana condensed and altered into having a physical state. Mana gems can be used to allow the casting of spells of that gem's type, using up the gem in the process, they are also key to the creation of casting focuses. The creation of a mana gem takes up ten times the amount of mana that it lets out, making the creation of them very arduous for even a skilled practitioner.
