Major error: 504

Something very recent started yesterday or today. Officially it is called a 504 Gateway Time-out error and it occurs when something wrong happens with coding or one of the servers. It forces everyone to refresh Fabletop every 5-10 minutes, causing combat to be more stressful than it already is. I talked with my software engineer father and he said there are three logical ways to fix this.

1) Something with the DNS.
2) Contacting the ISP.
3) Contacting the admin.

All we can hope for is that this gets fixed rather quickly. But no rush.

This should be fixed now. Sorry about that.

It looks like there was an unplanned server reboot yesterday that picked up a change to nodejs, which in turn required a small code change to the chat server that wasn't yet added.

Please let me know if it comes up again.

Also, a reminder that all bugs should be posted in the "Report a Bug" forum. I check it frequently. Otherwise it's best to assume that I am not aware of issues that are happening. Thanks!
