GM's Note: This forum explains and defines terminology which I use on my table and forums. You should read this forum before going to any other forum.

_____
Abilities • Passive Ability: Passive Abilities are passive until their trigger makes activates them
• Ability: Normal Abilities are used on a character's turn and count as their action that turn.
• Active Ability: Active Abilities can be activated at any time, including an enemy's turn. If activated on your turn, it does not count as your action.
Bonus Trait Attributes Your trait's attributes are what you put into the description of your trait, and determine for what you will roll the trait.
- GM's Note: There has been some confusion about "Attributes" lately, so I am going to try to clear it up. Attributes are literally just the descriptor of a trait (e.g. Rogue's descriptors are "stealth, perception, mobility, locks/traps"). Attributes here to make balancing customs traits easier and save everyone a bit of time during cc.
