V1.04 Beta - Followers & Chat Logs

Update v1.04 Beta focused on community features, to help players find others to game with. Let me know how it works out!

Follow System

- Added a Follow system to let players receive an email when a GM posts their table on the Open Tables list.
- You automatically follow a GM when you create a character at their table. (You can un-follow later.)

Profile

- Added Player XP (PXP), automatically gained by playing in Fabletop sessions.
- Can now delete characters
- You will now receive an email when getting a private message
- You can upgrade to Advanced mode manually via Edit Profile

Open Tables

- Added Wait List, so players can receive an email whenever a new table is posted within the next N hours.
- Listings now last 2 hours, instead of 1.

Character Sheets

- Life & Power are now 1-to-1, advancement-wise. New characters start with a combined total of 8.
- Upgrades are now earned at the end of the first session, and at every 20 XP.
- Added fantasy sub-races to trait list: elf, dwarf, halfling, gnome

Table Page

- Moved most of the table info to a separate bar at the top
- Minimize button hides the top part of the page, to focus on the game. This replaces the /top command
- Added Chat log archive. Snippets can be created.
- Added a "stop" link when new music tracks are loaded

I love the new content, goodjob! I do have one question though. Will pxp have a use in the future or will it just mark the player's experiance ingame?
I havent playtested the new features yet but they all look good. Thanks Frost!

PXP will mainly be a signal for how active you've been on the site, but there will probably be a couple of extra benefits from hitting certain milestones as well.

would be cool if there was a shop where you could by things using pxp

I need a platform that allows me to invite players into my games with 0 install and 0 technical problems and 0 learning curve. This program delivers in spades.

10/10 would pay for.

The only thing that could make it better is integrated dice support. Such as /roll 1d20 or /roll 1d8.

Also maybe expanding the maps to be larger and/or having a map editor. I'll be repeating these desires in the BETA thread.

Also if I am a paid member can free users I DM for access material and maps for free through me? Very interested.

I haven't been able to find this fabled "Minimize" button. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I actually removed it when I added the table forums. It just wasn't all that useful, and I want the table bar to stay accessible.
