Suggestion - Item Database

For those of us who want to build more intricate and long running games, would it be possible to integrate some kind of item database/ecosystem we could use in our roleplays.

Things like tiers of swords bows staffs and armor some rarer than others that we can use for chest contents or a table we can roll on for people examining stuff?

Potions, a crafting system where having say 10 bronze bars enables you to make a bronze armor set.

I ask because while this is rules heavy, i feel that having more resources to add rules would enable more players to play at a level they enjoy, rather than rolling the same dice.

Same goes for things like the moons/skulls having a button to press to determine a positive/negative event would probably be very yseful. of course we can modify from there but i feel people run out of ideas to quick, and dont attempt items very often due to the current complexity of balance in their item systems.

just a thought.
