Vampirism with 5 stages, Dhampir, Vampyr, Vampire, Great One and Ghoul
Dhampir are children of vampyr and are nothing particularly special, they live like a year or two longer and have a slightly better immune system but nothing special. though they can become a vampyr by drinking the blood of one
Vampyr are your stereotypical vampire, they are fast enough to seem like a blur, humans can barely see it, lift small cars like mini smart cars. they live for significantly longer but not immortal, more like up to 200-300 years. they need blood to survive specifically a high dosage of iron. they heal at the same rate as humans except when drinking an excess amount of blood to which it heals their wounds, they are also immune to any disease. they are paralyzed by stakes to the heart and are burned by the sun and running water. they also can see in infared and can smell as well as dogs
Vampires are the real deal, few of the weaknesses of the vampyr but all of the benefits and more. they are still paralyzed by stakes but are unaffected by sun or running water. they live for an unlimited time. they drink blood to stay sane and fuel their blood magic which allows them to manipulate flesh and bone, control the weather, talk and control animals. Vampires are created when a vampyr drinks a large sum of vampire blood
Next are the Great One's. now when a vampire does not drink they become a shriveled mummified corpse and the vampiric curse starts to show. when a vampire is staked and left to starve and shrivel leaving them for a 100 years or more in a coffin or tomb. when it is time and the stake is removed and then they are fed blood they come back as something different as the curse has come from the inside to the outside. now the vampire has grey skin and white hair, black eyes, visible fangs, splitting lower jaw, pointed ears and two sets of horns often coming in goat and ram fashion. Their Magical powers has been reduced to the point where the animal control/speach can only be done and a minor ability of fleshcraft where they sprout leathery bat like wings. but the potency of his blood is where it gets good. they are as physically superior to vampyr/vampires as they are superior to humans. they also regenerate, where vampires and vampyr can heal, only through fleshcraft can vampires regenerate.
Finally are the ghouls, they are vampyr who drink the blood of a Great One but due to the potency of the blood instead of becoming vampires they mutate drastically, significantly increasing in muscle, fat and bone mass effectively becoming the hulk, they are big, strong, tough and dumb, used as siege weapons normally
