By smuggling resources off of OUR lands, they have made MASSIVE profits, and attempoted to hide those profits once we broke out of the bubble. The truth is, we have what they need. And they aren't very good at hiding it." - Alexis Tolstoy, 3174, two years before the Great Burst.

Now, it is 3196, 20 years after the Great Burst. There are 5 Empires, at least that's what they're commonly called. These 5 Empires began outside of the System of the Homo sapiens. But, after the Great Burst, the "bubble" around it was broken, and the 5 entered the Solar System to battle over resources, which were much harder to get in the past. Because of this takeover, the human population have divided among the 5 Empires: The Lordship of Alexdrovni, the closest to a kingdom in the 5, most of it being ruled directly by the head Alexdrovni; The Commonwealth, a confederation of several smaller groups that joined together not to lose their sovereignty to The Lordship; The Coiner's Conglomerate, a group rules by an oligarchy of high level merchants that never deal with Inter-Empire affairs except trade or economy; The Ring, a government that surrounds all the other Empires in a ring, very religious and are very focused on maintaining a balance in the other Empires; and finally, the Central Power, a government that is split but together in Democratic Systems and King's Lands.

=== Famed Wars of the Empires ===
Alexdrovni Rebellion: The Colonists had learned about how their profits were going towards the pockets of Thomas Alexdrovni, a Homo sapien marry-in because the last Head had only had daughters. This war lasted from 3183-3184, but even if it was short, Colonist casualties were massive. The Alexdrovni won.

Ring Defense: This war realy isn't known to any of the inner Empires, except the highest of Scholars, but it was a war against the Outside because the Outside had begun to polute the Ring Knights.

Battle of the Lotus: This isn't a war, but it is considered one because of it's length. It lasted for 5 years, 10 years before the Great Burst. The Lotus Party battled against the Nobility for the Lotus' right to decide if rulings were to affect them. The war was a tie, and the Nobility gave the Lotus certain lands within the Central Power.

The Collision: A 3 years war, in which 3 now states of the Commonwealth had fought. The war was fought over what these states would be in the Commonwealth, which ones would be more influential. Similar battles were occurring in the other now states, but those were all as cold as ice. The war ended with none of the states winning after the Commonwealth had been established, and they are all now on the bottom of the chain.

There are 10 different species that are sentient on the Map of Systems, however no one knows about beyond the End.

These species are: Amarianth, a race of highly intelligent squid-like beings that are contained in hardened glass shells; Ring, these are mysterious beings that live in the Outer Shell, they rule over the Empire of the same name; Swindlers, the Swindlers are one of the original races of the Coiner's Conglomerate, by having gained a massive fortune and spent it to gain more profit; Humans, the race from the lands of Earth; Isanth, these are the half-breed race between the Human and the Verixians; Verixians, the race of the Alexdrovni that rule over the Vin of the Lordship; Gingi, the commoners of the Lordship, very similar to the Verixians, however their skin is more of a shell and their coloration is more red than the blue of the Verixians; Iesinth, the synthetic race between the Amarianth and the Verixians, creating a more intelligent race of Amarianth, which broke away and formed the Central Power; Gringoth, the race that's more towards the bottom of the Coiner's Conglomerate, barely scrounging up enough money to stay alive; Lotus, the commoner of the Central Power, small animal-like sentients that caused a battle for the free states.
