Sovereign Planets - Center Hub

pyrak Nov '16
Previously a Naval Fortress during the height of the human empire, it has become a spacious trade hub after the empire's fall. High Admiral Ravenhold rules the place, but for the most part he's only content with following the last order he was given, holding onto the fortress. His subordinates however have broken up into two factions that have gone about to forming two major factions who battle it out indirectly.

Mostly populated by humans, though not exclusively so, the fortress has become more and more of a trade hub as resources grow thin and there's more of a demand for supplies. Also being weapons manufacturers, the place trades weapons for food and materials.

Due to having a light garrison, the High Admiral lacks the capability to hold onto any Strategic Points and thus sticks to buffing up the station's defenses.

Ravenhold has gone from being a High Admiral to being the lord and protector of the the Navy Fortress which has slowly turned into a political battleground as he uses his position and the careful balance of sides to maintain control and prevent anarchy.

O'Sullivan is separatist leaning and often is more willing to work with people unaffiliated with the Human Empire. That being said, she's often working out agreements with non-humans and independent humans who would rather the empire say in the history books.

Greene is old and very xenophobic, he has no qualms with attacking aliens and is very pro-human. He's in favor with rebuilding the old human empire and getting it back to its height.

While both sides officially condemn piracy, they both use it as a means to an end, and can often get shady about what they're doing. Over the centuries it has gotten worse to the point where High Admiral Ravenhold has formally informed them that so long as this going on doesn't infringe upon the Fortress's capability to function at it's fullest, then he will let them both continue with their little disagreement onwards onboard, and in action outside so long as the station's personnel aren't fighting each other directly.
