Dead Be We

Undead, the very name brings forth the images of vampires and zombies, but there is more to just them then just stereotypes. at the moment there are 5 types of undead that stalk humanity. Charismatic and manipulative Vampires, Fast and venomous ghouls, strong and cannibalistic wendigo, the mysterious and mystic mummy's and finally the feared and sorcerous liches. All undead take part in in their underground society from that of man taking in the form of covens each located in a different city being independent from each other though that is not to say that rivalries and alliances do not exist. the fundemental nature of undead is at most basic state shared across the 5 types with minor differences. all undead do not breath or any other bodily function, so poison or disease cannot affect them or at least get far on their bodies. they do not physically heal naturally normally needing some outside resource to heal, some do not have this available and most rot to the point that they are simply skeletons or mummified corpses. All undead need some form of sustenance to sustain themselves, otherwise they simply drop dead and die as the force keeping them animated leaves them. Undead are not capable of dying of old age yet the best way to kill an undead is to behead them.

Undead: 1 - no bodily functions, Rot, immortal

--The Covens--
The Covens are social groups of the undead, organised in each city independently but there is always someone in charge, there is a council of Barons, each Baron is the leader of each type of undead in the city, under them are the Sherrif's, the effective force of the barons, they are often use for policing work but war has not been unheard of between covens, beneath the Sherrif's are the common undead, citizens as it were.

--Party--
The Party will take on the role of a small group of Sherrif's and are tasked with various jobs for the Barons. The age of the members of the Party may only be 50 at their oldest, the only exception to this are Mummy's but they would have only join society recently within the last 50 years

Characters may switch their base traits however they want, though i do not recommend min maxing.

--Player Rules--
Each Undead Power costs a power point to use it but not to sustain certain powers such as the animation of the necromancy, bandage binding of the Anubis Mummy's. Most powers cannot be sustained due to their fundamental nature. The main exception to this are the Rituals of Necromancy and require 2 power points to activate and 1 power point each turn if the ritual is continues. Rituals take a long time to prepare and requires the casters full attention. when performing a ritual you must state exactly you want to achieve and the GM will give you a list of materials you may need for the ritual.

==Vampires==
Vampires are undead who are not affected by the rot and are wholly capable of joining into human society be it night or day. most are sly manipulators using a a power they call 'The Succubus Eye', an ability that allows them to make suggestions into the mind of humans and so can manipulate people to an easy degree, skilled practitioners can even fully control humans and turn them into drones. Older vampires eventually learn two other powers, 'Storms Son' which allows them to control the weather, the other is 'Beasts Blood' which allows the vampire to use their suggestive powers on animals, skilled practitioners can even turn into animals, mostly taking on the avian or mammalian qualities.
Weakness: Stakes stabbed somewhere into the torso near the heart will paralyze a vampire
Sustenance: a Vampire requires the feeding of blood.
Trait: Vampire: 1 - Suggestive and manipulative, The Succubus eye

==Wendigo==
Wendigo are Native americans murdered with a vengeance, coming back in their corpses albino, capable of growing claws and quills on their heads and backs. Wendigo are inhumanly strong and from this fact are often hired as bodygaurds.
Weakness: Wendigo are highly weakened in the presence of large concentrations of lead
Sustenance: a Wendigo must feast on Human Flesh to sustain themselves, whether they cook it or eat it raw is irrelevant, eating the flesh of children or younger humans allows them to ware of the rot

==Mummy's==
Mummy's are undead who are also not affected by the rot but are mostly thousands of years old or were mummified recently in the last few centuries. all Mummy's began to awake at the late 1800s during the archaeological explosion from the age of discovery and advancement as their tombs were violated and have been awakening one by one since, they awoke. During their sleep all Mummy's were faced with a trial and at the end of this trial they are sent or chose one of the three gods of Anubis, Osiris, Set. depending on the one they end up with they are given unique powers like that of magic. Those of Anubis are capable of controlling bandages or similar pieces of material as well as swarms of vermin like locusts and beetles. Those of Osiris can leach life from the living and enter the Shadow Lands where ghosts and other spirits reside. Finally those of Set are capable of controlling the blood in their bodies as a weapon or tool.
Weakness: Mummies are emotionally dead and so are incapable of performing emotional acts such as rage, charisma and lust, or similar emotional acts.
Sustenance: Mummy's must feast on the heart of a recently dead person be it someone they killed or someone else did.

==Ghouls==
Ghouls are the Type of Undead created by the Liches, they are effective copies of the Wendigo, the differences are their strength is no different but rather their speed is inhuman. as well while they have claws they also have long whip like tongues that hold deadly poison that will turn other humans into ghouls. due to being created in a sense artificially Ghouls are affected by Rot Differently, in such the manner that their flesh is unaffected, what is affected is their minds, they slowly degenerate into perverse and inhuman monsters.
Weakness: Ghouls are mostly mentally broken and unstable, Ghouls are unable to use power points in conjunction with wisdom.
Sustenance: Ghouls find a strong hunger for the brains of humans, as they seem to slow the degeneracy they suffer
Trait: Ghoul: 1 - Claws, Fast, Jumper, Whip Tongue

==Liches==
The Liches are human mages who turn themselves into undead using an art called necromancy. Liches are Undead in the most basic sense having nothing unique about them, they are fully affected by the rot though even when they turn to skeletons they are still as fit and strong as they were in life, though their magic stops them from decomposing any further beyond their skeleton. Necromancy is a magical art that allows the control of frost, animation of corpses and further complicated powers with the use of Rituals. Liches are feared and hated across the Covens for their mysteries of necromancy that allows them in some cases to even control other undead and in rare cases create them like with the Ghouls. Another Unique thing about the Liches is the standard way of killing an undead is ineffective as their bodies are held together by their souls and once beheaded they may reform themselves, one must wholly destroy the Liches corpse.
Weakness: Liches are incapable of entering human society due to the rot and mostly do not care for it as they are mostly studying their necromancy.
Sustenance: Liches need to feed on the souls of others, leaching it from them. most kidnap people and hold them captive to keep themselves sustained for long periods of time
