Mythic II - Episodes

EPISODE 1, SEASON 1
The Fall Of Ismor

A horde of zombies has taken over the town of Ismor. After several deaths and a lot of destruction, the remaining villagers gather around in The Blindside Inn to plan things through, taking good care of their injured mayor while they're at it.
Galze and Lilith, two siblings who steal from others in order to save their mom, Tifa, from an illness have stumbled in here as well. Other people who've ended up here include Ikkan, a man who's been "blessed" with tentacles for arms when he was young. Krsshkrcrk, a dwarven berserker with a love for smashing people in the faces. Manjastik and Larune, two mystic warriors from the Old Wise Of The Mountain's Mystic Order sent to purge the land of evil. Hastly, a common yet elusive thief. Kyle, a tough willed hunter who's determined to survive. Last, of course, the old barkeeper, Noah, who manages the inn and was nice enough to let people in.
After much arguing to determine a new leader after Mayor Pickens fell to injuries, people chose Kyle to lead the group. Since the zombies around the area have left for the moment, Kyle chose to lead a group fit enough to fight the zombies to search for answers, supplies, and survivors around town. Galze and Lilith persuade Kyle to search for Tifa.
During their trip, Kyle, Galze, Lilith, Krsshkrcrk, Manjastik, Ikkan, and Larune find a force field surrounding a church. The Mystics determine it of dark magical origin, but before investigating any further they were interrupted by a scream. Tifa's scream.
Rushing towards their mother's aid, Galze and Lilith help their mom from being chased by a group of zombies. Initiating a battle, the party fights and wins. They realize the zombies weren't after Tifa, but after the force field.
After the fight, they meet another survivor named Adotumal, a mage. With the night growing ever so old, everyone returns to the inn. Back inside, Adotumal uses restorative magic to cure the mayor. Yet for some odd reason Tifa's fever was not cured. Manjastik suspects this.
The next morning, the survivors are awakened and shocked to see three large tentacles crashing through the inn's walls. Immediately everyone protects the weak and fights back. With the death of a commoner, people fight harder to prevent anymore kills. However they failed to save Manjastik, who runs out of air and is squeezed to death by a tentacle.
With such a sorrowful morning, especially for Larune, the survivors are tasked with ending the zombie threat once and for all. To kill the necromancer who started this.

Episode 2 continues June 9, Monday at 6 PM Central Time

EPISODE 2, SEASON 1
Down Under

"Oi oi" The group heard Nick say as he walked into the broken walls of the inn. An experienced fighter who wields elemental powers, specifically fire, he's been wandering around the kingdom of the undead and came across Ismor and the Blindside Inn.
Determined to end this crisis, Nick joins the group in their hunt for the necromancer. Everyone sets their eyes at the church and the force field surrounding it. Believing answers to lie inside, the group bids farewell to Tifa, Noah, Mayor Pickens, and the commoners and promise to return.
Two more survivors were found outside, Dael and Magifist. They help out in the puzzle that is taking down the force field. In the end, all magic wielders combine their magic and overcharge the force field making it shatter apart.
Inside the church, they find zombies make their way down a hidden passage. They also find a girl named Eira, mysteriously sleeping on a church's chair. Kyle decides to carry her. With the group growing big, a few are left behind on standby while the rest travel beneath the church...
In what appears to be the opposite of what a church should be, the party encounters denomic symbols, swarms of the undead, and another tentacle similar to the one that attacked the inn the morning. These tentacles came from a human with a shape shifting spell, who this man is is unkown.
Deeper inside, the group comes across an evil sacrificial chamber. After being locked inside, Ikkan was killed by skeletons.
What other traps await? Is the necromancer really here? Stay tuned!

Episode 3 coming June 10, Tuesday, 8-9 PM CST

EPISODE 3, SEASON 1
The Graveyard

The group continues on their search, everyone silently mourning Ikkan's death. Magifist, and the rest of the group that waited by the church's entrance, joins the exploration.
As they continue, they find a scholar named Avankal. His search for transformation spells and knowledge has led him here. They also meet Gedijet, a young girl who was apparently held prisoner here.
The group comes across a table. Magifist summons Jon the bear to push it aside, revealing a Black Dagger that was hidden beneath. Avankal takes it as a souvenir.
Their next trial was a room with nothing more but a Galagos Statue. (The god of death). No exits, it appeared to be a dead end. With Avankal's help, the group solves the puzzle by making the statue explode and revealing the entrance to an underground graveyard. However Avankal's hands were burned in the process.
The Underground Graveyard, a massive cave several miles long, was the source of the undead goblins. Avankal's wind magic lets the party soar a few miles over the cave, making them land in the center of the graveyard.
Unfortunately, that led to them being surrounded by countless zombies. Avankal sacrifices himself to let the others buy time to escape.
A few ways south, the group meets another fellow member from the Mystic Order, Thanos, fighting zombies. Ambushed yet again, Gedijet saves the day by throwing an explosive which kills most of the attackers.
Thanos says it was Avankal's blessings that saved their lives. He used holy magic to detect Avankal's lingering spirit, and expresses the party's gratitude to him. After that, Thanos leads everyone out of the cave through the way he entered: A broken cellar wall.

SEASON 1 FINALE
Death's Control

Thanos has been living in an old abandoned cabin along with Cradus, a person who worships the God of Death, Galagos. Cradus is happy enough to let fellow survivors stay in his cabin, unfortunately there wasn't much in his house that was of use...
Either way, the group is grateful enough and stays the night. The following morning the cabin was attacked by an army of zombies led by Crowvan, a reanimated ranger. The team escapes after one of Gedijet's bombs breaks a part of the cabin down.
In the middle of the plains, the party is surrounded. Crowvan reveals to be The Necromancer's right hand man. Agayas, the necromancer himself, appears through a portal. He questions the group why they escape death, that their efforts were meaningless.
They were going to die anyway.

He messes with several members of the group. He reveals Tifa, Noah, Mayor Pickens, and everyone else back at Ismor have been killed and joined Agayas' army. Enraged, Galze attacks. Yet he fails.
Agayas mentions his worship of Galagos to Cradus, and how Galagos WANTS people dead. Trying his best to be loyal, Cradus kills himself. Slowly the entire party falls, eventually down to just Galze, Kyle, and Gedijet.
The small group of three chose to run away. Now being chased by a massive horde of zombies across Vargalia. They come across a small farm and two horses. One had to stay behind.
Kyle confesses his love to Gedijet, and that they should both get on together and leave Galze. Fortunately the horses were killed so they simply kept running on foot. They end up reaching Alvagor, however they were extraordinarily tired. It was a dead end.
In a pond of water, the three find the tentacle man again. He chooses to help the group fight the zombies back with his tentacles. The Squid Man was a huge help, and successfully helped against the zombie army. Unfortunately he was not enough, Agayas used his powers to make the Squid Man work for him again.

In the end...

It was too much...

There was no hope...
