Generations: Mortal Blood - Character Creation

=Bonus traits=
Your character starts off with 1 class trait, 1 race trait, and 1 custom trait.
- Custom traits have to fit your character and be approved by GM.
- Custom traits can have custom abilities and magic.
- Custom traits can have attributes equaling up to 4 points total.
- Custom races might be allowed under some circumstances, just ask.

=Classes=
You are able to choose from and play six unique classes. Each has two skill tree from which you can choose as you level.
- Custom classes aren't allowed unless bribery is involved
- GM's Note: Classes are supposed to be the base of your character, not your character's set role. If you want to play a role that isn't on the class list, by all means, make your custom bonus trait represent your role and choose the class that best fits your playstyle.
- Class Leveling
Your class levels up as its corresponding trait levels up. When your class hits level 2, you have the option to choose between two skill tree branches, and gain the abilities, magic, proficiencies, etc. from that branch. When your class hits level 3, you again have two options: to level your chosen branch (completely) to level 3 or to choose the level 2 from the other branch (with the exception of Astral Mage).

=Magic=

=Weapons=
Your character starts off with two custom basic weapons.
- Starting with more weapons might be allowed in certain circumstances, just ask.

=Armor=
Your character may start with fluff armor
- Starting with non-fluff armor is rarely allowed... but feel free to ask

=Items=
Your character starts with a Small Health Potion and any basic item that they might have on them. - GM's Note: Make sure to list any items during CC, otherwise you can't add them later, although I'm not too strict about this rule unless you break it to meta-game.
- Heirloom
Start off with an heirloom that has been or will be passed down throughout generations. This can be anything from your father's sword, a trinket, or a magical item given to you by your teacher.

=Base Stats=
Your character starts off with 9 points to put into your Stats. The maximum points you can put into a stat when starting is 3 (this number may change depending on the race you chose. If your race doesn't mention anything about this, don't worry about it.)
- More points can be earned through in-game experience.

=Inventory=
By default, a character with 0 strength has 6 Inventory Slots. For every point in Strength, add 2 Inventory Slots.

=Pets=
- Staring with a pet might be allowed under some circumstances depending on your character and their backstory, just ask.

=Allies=
Staring with an ally would be very unlikely, but you can try to change my mind.

=Attributes=
Attributes are the descriptors of your bonus trait(s) and determine for what you roll the trait. Some attributes cost more points than others. - GM's Note: You are not limited to only these attributes, these are just examples.
• Skilled in combat = 4 Points
• Magic = 4 Points
• Resist physical damage = 3 Points
• Dodging = 3 Points
• Resist magic = 2 Points
• Melee combat = 2 Points
• Ranged combat = 2 Points
• Wilderness/wildlife = 1 Point
• Locks/traps = 1 Point
• Perception = 1 Point
• Persuasion = 1 Point
• Movement = 1 Point
• Stealth = 1 Point
• Strength = 1 Point
• Tracking = 1 Point
• Etc. = 1 Point
