Percentile Arms and Armor System

- ThunderStar's Note: This is a percentile based arms and armor system designed to keep weapons and armor outside of your bonus traits. If you are interested in using this system on your table, please send me a message about it.

The Game Master assigns a Level to Weapons and Shields with a number 1-6. The higher the number the better the weapon. The weapons level adds a #0 percentile bonus to your damage dealt, and shields add a #0 percentile bonus to your dodge/block rolls.
The Game Master assigns a Level to Armor with a number 1-3. The armor reduces damage received equal to its level.

• Weapons add a percentile bonus to your damage dealt.
• Shields add a percentile bonus to your dodge/block.
• Armor adds a static damage reduction

Basic Weapon Use
Knight has Longsword (4)
Vs. Orc

Knight rolls 5 vs Orc (5 + Longsword 40% = 7)

Orc rolls 0 dodge (7 - 0 = 7)

7 damage to Orc.

Basic Shield Use
Knight Vs.
Orc Has Buckler (4)

Knight rolls 6 vs Orc

Orc rolls 4 Dodge/Parry (4 Parry + Buckler 40% = 5.6)

0 Damage to orc

Basic Armor Use
Knight has Longsword (4)
Orc has Iron Mail (1)

Knight rolls 5 vs Orc (5 + Longsword 40% = 7 - 1 Iron Mail Damage Reduction = 6)

Orc rolls 1 dodge (6 - 1 = 5)

5 damage to Orc.
