The Obsidian Arena - Mechanics

This is a simple roleplay however there are a few changes from the usual.

During combat every player has 2 actions.
These can consist of any of the following.
1 Movement
1 Attack
1 Other Action - (e.g.Check for traps, Get information etc .)

====Attacking====
Simply Put Attack is Base Stat + Ability + Weapon Tier.

Abilities cost 1 power point to use. They may change the way you roll your dice, but these are created by you. So should be understandable.(see fabletop.com/forum/topic/8598.1/the-obsidian-arena... for more details.)

Your roll consists of:
-Base Stat:
Melee Characters roll with Might,
Range characters Roll with Agility,
Magic Characters Roll with Wisdom.
(If you aren't sure which you are just ask.)

-Weapon Tier:

Your starting weapon will be Tier 0. As you progress you might buy a higher tier weapon (1-5)
Tier 1 adds 1 dice to an attack roll.
Tier 2 adds 2 dice to an attack roll.
...and so on.

====Defending====

You only roll on Defence if either:
You have an Armor Tier (1-5)
You have an ability that enables you to roll.
You are a melee character - gives 2 defense dice with the extra bonus trait.

You start off with Tier 0 armor and can buy armor in the game.
Tier 1 adds 1 die to your defensive roll.
Tier 2 adds 2 dice to your defensive roll.
...and so on.
