=Humanoids Species=

Human

Humans are a simple race that has a short life. They aren't as tall as elves and are less stocky than dwarves. Humans live where ever they can scavage or farm. They aren't very strong or skilled compared to other races, although, some Humans are adept in magic.
- Vampire
Vampires are a race of humanoid origins. Legend says that a great human conquerer sacrificed his soul to the Lord of Hades and was blessed with unnatural power, but cursed with the lust for blood. Vampires are thus said to be the soulless remnant of what once was human. One who is bitten by a vampire's soul is immediately transported to the underworld and their body yet remains.
- Werewolf
Werewolves are bestial, semi-humanoid creature cursed with the disease of lycanthropy. Various myths and legends attribute the origin of the curse of lycanthropy to be punishment for crimes against nature. Werewolves are vicious and remorseless. Some believe werewolves are turned under the light of the full moon, and where that is true or not, it is without a doubt that werewolf sightings are more common on nights of the full moon as it seems that is their favorite time to hunt.

Elves
Elves are the second oldest known species and are immortal. They stand taller than Woodland Elves, but shorter than River Elves. Elves are highly intelligent and very skilled in combat and astral magic.

High Elves live to themselves and don't communicate much with other species, as they consider themselves superior.

Fallen Elves
After the Eternal War, high elves lost their immortality and became mortal, although they still have incredibly long lifespans. After the fall of the high elves, they divided and dispersed into the river lands of Tuinenór and the vast woodland of Taurënór.
- River Elven

River Elves are a tall and lean species, with tanned light skin. They live in the land of Tuinenór. These Elves are usually friendly, but do not underestimate them in combat.
- Wood Elven

Woodland Elves are a little shorter than their cousins, the River Elves, but they are considered far more deadly. Woodland Elves live among the mountains in the forests of Taurënór and have pale skin. These elves can be very hostile if you trespass on their land.

Dwarven

Dwarves are shorter and stockier than humans and have long beards. They live in caves deep inside the mountain of Az Mogaak where they mine rare stones and metals of the earth. Dwarves are skilled craftsmen and warriors. They are mostly friendly, as they are well fed and you don't insult them.

Halfling

Halfling are small beings that live to themselves in the hills. They aren't violent, mean, or vile; Halfing enjoy the simple things in life.

Gnome

Gnomes are small humanoids with beards, much like dwarves, but smaller. Gnomes have a passion for mechanical devices and will spend long hours constructing and inventing.

Titan
Titans are beings of ancient myth. They are believed to be creatures that ruled Edar before any other. They are believed to be the ancestors of goliaths and giants.

Goliath
Goliath's are believed to be the ancient offspring of a human and a titan. They live among the snowy peaks of their mountainous land seldom seek adventure outside it. They seem to be not quite as intelligent as humans, but much larger in height and muscle, though it would be unwise to say that to a goliath's face.

Giant
Giants are believed to be the direct descendants of titans. It is thought that to maintain their massive size in the material realm, they had to compromise their intelligence. Giants can be put into two subcategories: hill giants, and frost giants.
- Hill giants
Hill giants live among the foothills of their lands. Hill giants tend to venture out more commonly than frost giants due to the fact that frost giants cannot tolerate the warm of the rest of the world.
- Frost giants
Frost giants which live among the snow and the mountains of the north of their land. Frost giants are rarely seen outside of their own land, but few have been spotted among other snowy places.

Atlanean
Atlanteans are beings of ancient myth. They are said to have ruled Edar after the Age of Gods and before the Age of Elves. It is said that the ancient kingdom of old still lays beneath the sea.
- Merfolk
Merfolk are creatures of myth believed to be the descendants of atlanteans. They are fish-like humanoids they are said to live in kingdoms underwater.
- Mermaid
Mermaid are creatures said to resemble beautiful women with the tail of a fish. Rumors amongst sailors is that that entice their pray with an alluring song before capsizing the ship to loot its valuables.

=Subhuman Species=

Orc

Orcs are a large humanoid being with green, or grayish green skin. They are a strong war race whom seek power, and dominance of the land. They often raid villages and burn them to the ground.

Goblin

Goblins are a small humanoid most commonly with pale-green skin. They are shorter than dwarves and are very skinny. Goblins are crafty, but not very smart, fast, but not very strong. Goblins love for gold is comparable to that of dragons.

Ogre
Large unintelligent creatures, often seen to orcs as deadly destructive pests or used as slaves. To humans, ogres are terrifying beasts capable of destroying villages and small towns. To elves and dwarves, the creatures are nothing more than a weapon used by the orcs. Goliaths and Giants, however, pity these creatures as they believe them to be cursed descendants of titans.

Troll
Trolls are ugly clever creatures, though they're not very smart. They often try to trap or trick human travelers.

=Mixbreed Species=

Half Elven

Half-Human, Half-Elf, this mix breed stands taller than Human but shorter than Elves. Although they retain the pointed ears of Elves, they are more rounded and less pronounced. A Half-Elf's average life span is 180 years. Although some humans dislike Half-Elves, they are mostly accepted.

Half Orc

Half Orc, Half Human, this mix breed is not as intelligent as Humans, nor as strong as Orcs. Some Half-Orc's spend their entire lives working for Orcs as slaves. Others try to blend into human society, but unlike Half-Elves, whom are mostly accepted, Half-Orcs are not as commonly accepted.

=Dragons=

Arcane Dragons
Arcane dragons are highly intelligent and extremely powerful. Arcane dragons can speak many languages, communicate telepathically, and can take on a humanoid form. Arcane dragons have been in existence exceedingly longer than any other known species.
- Elder Dragons
Elder Dragons are the oldest, strongest, and most powerful of all the arcane dragons. Before the Age of Elves, the Elder Dragons gained dominion over the elements, allowing only other dragons to control them, and allowing humanoids to use them through Runes.

Common Dragon
Common Dragons are descendants of arcane dragons. They are intelligent, powerful beings, although they can not be compared to arcane dragons. Common dragons can not speak, but they can communicate with each other dragons telepathically. Some Common Dragons will bond with humanoids and will communicate with them telepathically.

Wyvern

Phoenix
The phoenix is a great bird of flame with mastery over life. Eons ago, when the first ancient dragons were gaining their natural armor and natural weapons, the cousin of the first dragons, the Phoenix, went on a evolutionary different path. The phoenix mastered life itself by being reborn in flame and ash.

A sheep that grows horns made of wood. The natives of the Twilight Forest harvest the wood to make various tools.
