Prologue War has finally come to the continent again. Flagros has invaded, perhaps unhappy about its small place among the nations of Alvar, or perhaps simply wanting territory, or something more sinister...
Regardless, the Flagran army crashed into unprepared and inexperienced Contegan border guards, beginning the War of the Sun. They've already nearly reached the capital of Contego, but Bestian forces have severed their supply lines. Even the inexperienced at war queen of Contego, Arpi, knows that now is the best, and perhaps only remaining, time to strike. She mustered all the forces she could get from the remnants of the tiny Contegan army, as well as any other willing fighters she could get, and prepared to meet the Contegan vanguard at the gates. However, a small force attacked in the throne room, easily defeated by the new party. A fighter named Tyrra was recruited from the Flagran ranks, and joined the new miniature army.
Chapter 1 The new Contegan unit proceeded to march to meet the Contegan vanguard, only to be met by a second, slightly stronger and more numerous bunch of Flagran soldiers, whom they routed.
Chapter 2 The Contegan forces exited the castle, only to find no vanguard, but smoke from the town. They came to the entrance of the town and found it being raided by out-of-hand soldiers "led" by a mage named Concordia, who was apparently a friend of Tyrra's. She told them to kill her, as the Flagrans would apparently kill her family if she deserted. They reluctantly killed Concordia and dispatched the other soldiers, saving a house from being destroyed.
