All characters can start off with one skill that is some sort of power or ability to start off with.
In your description give your character a backstory and a description of what they look like or a reference picture.
In notes make sections for weapons, items, and money so you can keep track of everything you get during the session ( If you are the captain of the ship you will also have a section called ship funds which all players can donate to pay for ship repairs and upgrades. )
