The great phenomenon caused an increase in crime levels and while nations dawdled in making any sort of radical change to the law, men and woman took inspiration from comics and donned the mantle of heroism. They began policing this new world and defending innocents from evil. Suddenly, through the swell of public opinion, heroism gained rights as an official occupation and gained income from the state.
Several schools across the world were opened to train powered children to control their powers. The most prestigious powered school is the Academy of Heroes and that is where you come in.
