Today marks the 28th anniversary of the end of the Elven War.
I still wake up in the middle of the night, sweat dripping from my forehead. I can't ever forgive the elves for what they've done. I still remember the families slaughtered and killed as we passed through the Farm Villages. I still remember the look of my allies as they fell to the enemy’s swords. I can never forget.
Though it seems Eldrea has.
Now elves are treated the same as if nothing happened. Their crimes during the war have all been forgotten. But I still remember. With the dagger I stole off of the blacksmith, I shall slip into the inn at night and end the elven innkeeper's life. It doesn't deserve to live.
Wish me luck.

28th Sun’s Rest, 167 Expansion
On this day, the mysterious elves invaded Ofros.
It all started when colonists had arrived on a mysterious new continent. They stumbled upon a mighty empire. One larger than any seen on Ofros. A mysterious race, the elves, inhabited this empire. They ruled the continent with their power, crushing any kind of resistance with a simple flick of their wrist. Seeing this, the colonists returned to Ofros to report to the High King. The elves somehow found out about them and followed them to Ofros.
Two days after the colonists arrived and reported to the High King, the elves launched their attack. Seeing this new rich land, they couldn’t resist claiming it for their own. They attacked and ravaged Ofros. Any land they did not destroy, they took it for themselves.
Two years passed and the elves had attacked and took more than half of Ofros with their mighty power. Noel Strife, the Hero of Ofros, led a rebellion against the elves. He reclaimed several towns with his rebels until he had eventually made his way to Stonewall, a large coastal empire where he led a final battle against the elves. He died in the battle, but not before he had destroyed the elven flagship along with all their leaders. Seeing this, the elves withdrew and returned back to their own lands. The half-bloods created from many of the elves taking the women of Ofros for themselves were left.
The Hero of Ofros’ allies separated soon after. Most retired from adventuring and took up important jobs in cities, while others kept on adventuring. Most of their locations are known, but some seem to have disappeared from Ofros altogether.
28 years have passed since The Hero of Ofros ended the Elven War and you have found yourself on a transport ship to Stonewall. For whatever reason, be it adventure, business or something else entirely, you have boarded the ship to Stonewall. Rumours of strange elven runes and magic traces found in Stonewall recently have been spread recently, putting the guards on high alert and the citizens on edge.
What awaits you in the city of Stonewall? Fortune or danger?
Find out.
Stonewall
Stonewall’s banner is one of a large city floating in the ocean.
Stonewall is a coastal city-state that is located on the East coast of Ofros. It was one of the first cities attacked by the Elves, and was one of the longest to hold against the enemy forces during the war due to the many defenses left behind by the original Dwarven builders. Stonewall was used as the main base of operations by the elves and was also where The Hero of Ofros had ended the Elven War.
Stonewall is now one of the largest empires in Ofros and is the only city to engage in slavery in Ofros. It has several towns on the inside of its walls.
Aferdun, meaning higher city in dwarven, is the largest and richest town in Stonewall. It is protected by the professional military of Stonewall. Most of the aristocrats reside here.
Oferdun, meaning lower city in dwarven, is where most residents live. It is moderately wealthy and is protected by the city guard.
Oferidun, meaning lowest city in dwarven, is the poorest town in Stonewall. Crime is common and many refugees are usually dumped here. Less than a dozen guards are stationed here, and most turn a blind eye if they are paid enough.
Hilodun, meaning water city in dwarven, is a mix between Oferidun and Oferdun. Crime is common, but most citizens take it upon themselves to enact the law. Most supplies and trade of the city are held here.
Firolidun, meaning invaders city in dwarven, is a large prison town created by the elves when they stayed. Now it is mainly used as the center of the slave-trade in Ofros. All criminals and free-elves are sent to Firolidun and are then fitted with a magical collar that brainwashes them until they’ve lost all semblance of their original selves. They are then sold on the block as slaves, where their minds are able to be shaped by the owner. These brainwashed citizens are called the Faded.
The Stonewall Forest is a large area of Stonewall reserved for wildlife. Wildlife are allowed to roam free here and are allowed to be hunted if the hunter gets a permit.
Races and Culture
The Humans: The most numerous race and arguably the most dominant, the humans are everywhere you go on Ofros. Their states are usually monarchies, with the High-King ruling over all that the humans own. Magic in humans are uncommon and any found to wield magic are usually sent to be trained by the closest city’s court wizard.
The Dwarves: The wealthiest race and technologically advanced race, the dwarves are a short though mighty race. They live underground in large kingdoms that span across Ofros. They live based on a feudal system. They believe that their gods own Eldrea and everything on it, but the monarchs are able to use it as they wish as it is what their gods allow. Underneath the monarchs are the nobles, and underneath the nobles are the knights, servants and slaves. Magic is practically nonexistant in Dwarven society, with only two dwarven magi users being recorded in all of history. No dwarven mages have appeared in two ages.
The Elves: Arriving in 167 Expansion, the elves are a mysterious race. Nearly all elves seen in Ofros are half-bloods, left behind by the true elves after they fled from Ofros. Since they are not true elves and were made from another race and a true elf, they take on the same appearance of the other race with characteristics of true elves. For example, a dwarf-elf would be the same height as an average dwarf, but with elven ears and a slim build. Not much is known about their original culture besides the knowledge that the true elves ruled their nations with a mighty fist and were unequalled in magic power. Since there was nothing left over by the true elves after they fled, the half-bloods take up whatever culture they were raised upon. Magic was common in true elves, with their magic being stronger than any magic seen before on Ofros. Nearly all knowledge of elven magic has been lost, though magic still runs strong in the half-bloods and they are able to easily learn Ofros’ magic.
