Project: Pilgrims of the new world

The world has lost it's sun after the old god fell from the sky, bringing it's throne down with him, stars were stolen by the ones that wanted to save their hide, leaving the world to rot, society has collapsed, becoming a dog eat dog world in which no affiliations survive, one day, one man calling himself the Omega presented himself to the world, promising a new land, a city in the middle of the now dry lands known as the ashen desert, tomb of the old god, the city hover above it, towering so high it's buildings rip through the sunless sky, to reach there, one must commit pilgrimmage, go through the trail of the beginnings, surpass it, and then, then they will reach a new land, few have survived this, and noone knows of what's happened to them...until one day, the sun came back, black colored and eerie, people took this as an omen, the omen of the birth of a new god, but they were so wrong...the old god's arose once more as shells of their former selves, seeking to destroy the world that was once their's, the pilgrims have no choice but to run, to hide, to survive, reaching the flying city named MU...or finding comfort somewhere else, pilgrimmage it's people's only hope, only becoming able to survive after subjecting themselves to the trails of the beginning, in which you must cleanse yourself in the void...the first trail being finding the void, the second, not being destroyed by it
