The Games Of Ton-Fi

oman1666 Feb '16

Let the Games Begin!

Welcome, contestant to the Games of Ton-Fi, hosted by your very own beloved emperor Ton-Fi (note: if you are thinking 'I don't love Ton-Fi!' well... that's why you're in a blood sport arena. Rebel scum.) The universe's most popular game show is back, with all new contestants.

The rules are simple: Ton-Fi chooses the game. You don't get a choice in whether or not you compete and he watches and laughs as you get badly, mortally injured trying to compete for precious points.

Ah, who doesn't love points? We all know what points mean right? Prize money! Every point earned is money won for your family, or a charity of your choice. And, at the end of the reason, the contestant with the most points wins the grand prize: NOT BEGIN EXECUTED. And that's not all... you also win the honour of being a sentinel in the arena for the rest of your life. Wow!

What are sentinels you ask? Well... trying to stop you from getting points every game are some of the biggest and nastiest henchmen of Ton-Fi there are. These seriously tough foes will oppose you every step of the way... so good luck.

Now... let's meet the contestants. From all planets of the universe and all alternate dimensions under Ton-Fi's rule they come. Magical ones, alien ones, robots, warriors, and other wacky character. Literally anything could enter this arena.

Meet the Sentinels

Enforcer

Enforcer was once one of Ton-Fi's elite captains, commanding armies in battle. Like all of his elites, Enforcer was equipped with a fully operational plasma sword and an enhanced mutant power (in Enforcer's case, telekinesis). Unfortunately, one day a thought-probe picked up on a stray though of his that suggested that he maybe didn't 100% like Ton-Fi's shoes. He was forever condemned to the arena for this treachery. A combination of mind-powers, sword mastery and battle-field training makes Enforcer a deadly opponent.

Stats:

Agility: 2
Wisdom: 2
Telekinesis: 3 – can move and control things with his mind
Plasma Sword: 3 – Melee combat
Battle Trained: 2 – perception, reaction, athletics, toughness

Brute

Sometimes, sheer size and strength are what's needed. That's where Brute comes in. Fifteen feet tall and strong as an ox (or it's giant equivalent), with just his hands, fist and loin-cloth, Brute can sweep an entire arena aside. There is not much to say about him, as he is a simple but deadly opponent. Terrifyingly, it is rumoured he was the runt of the litter on his home planet.

Stats:
Might: 5
Agility: 1
Wisdom: 1
Brute: 3 – melee combat, strength
Giant: 2 – Tough, intimidating, can easily step over obstacles.

Knight D'red

A deadly warrior woman of the D'Kaanth people, who resemble humanoid dragons. Knight D'red is a master of sword and shield, and also has the distinct advantages of wings, and the ability to breathe fire. A former gladiator of the arena, D'red was thrown to the lions, only to fly above them and ignite them with her breathe. Ton-Fi was so impressed, he decided to keep her as a Sentinel.

Stats:
Might: 3
Agility: 2
Wisdom: 2
Warrior : 2 - skilled in combat
D'Kaanth: 3 – Fire breath, flight, heat resistance.

General Carnage

Once the highest ranked officer of the seven-hundredth and forty-fifth rebellion against Ton-Fi, General Carnage now serves in the arena, where, to Ton-Fi's delight, he is forced to slay other former rebels in exchange for his family's continued life. General Carnage is an angry and bitter man for this reason... and hurting you might be the only thing that makes him feel remotely better.
Stats:
Might: 2
Agility: 3
Wisdom: 2
Power Armour :2 – enhanced strength, athletics and toughness.
Military Man: 3 – Ranged combat, tactics, planning
Big Guns: 2 – Ranged combat.

Super Sentinel

A paragon of justice, integrity and goodness. Ton-Fi would never allow that. The so-called 'Super Hero' was captured, and brain washed for several years, turning him into another play thing of the Emperor. A shame, for this man was once thought able to save the universe...

Super Endurance: 3 – Very very tough and enduring

The ultimate arena weapon of Ton-Fi. Only the most experienced gladiators ever get a chance at fighting it. Might: 3
Agility: 3
Wisdom: 1
Dragon: 3 – Claws, jaws, breath, flight.
Robot: 2 – toughness, senses, stamina

Night Terror

Forty members of staff are employed just to keep Night Terror contained. A deadly alien, who sees with it's sense of smell and hides with perfect chameleon camouflage if you ever see it's massive claws... then it is too late.

Riot Bot

Those that obey every single command Ton-Fi can think of can rest safely in their beds at night, knowing that Riot Bots police the streets. tasers, water cannons, pepper spray, hand cuffs and riot shield. Everything a police officer needs can be found on Riot Bot. Through peaceful means only, this robot will stop you in your tracks.

Miss Styxx

The mistress of magic! The master of mysticism, perhaps the greatest spell caster in all of reality – Miss Styxx began her long career in the arena as a magician at Ton-Fi's third birthday party. Ton-Fi wasn't impressed with the rabbit-in-the-hat trick, so banished her to blood sport forever. To this day, later... (centuries later?) this old woman still survives in the arena.

Former champion: 1 – fairly proficient at athletics and ranged combat
