Morrowind, in shambles of what it used to be, is mainly deserted from the Eruption of the Red Mountain. This volcanic eruption has no real answer of why it was caused, but the Dark Elves have mostly fled to Skyrim and Cyrodiil. Luckily their neighbors welcomed them with open arms because they can fight very well.
