Scholars in the future would document this event as the rebirth of magic. Revikt, observing the remains of mankind decides to base his own realm upon them. In the case of mankind, they are able to access a rather rudimentary version of magic, one that stems from their own divine blood. The Arkana would follow the same principle, though at a range that would be accessible by any mortal. Using Revikt’s divine essence as a source of power, it would act as an infinite well. One that mortals would be able to access through several means to gain limited control over certain divine elements.
Through the use of runes akin to the Architect’s own, mortals are able to gain control and contain charges of divine energy within the symbols. They would be able to be fixed and released at the whims of the creator. Furthermore, the use of speech to invoke the control of the Arkana is a common method, with new words and sentences being revealed to random individuals in visions.
Unbeknownst to the gods, due to the Arkana being derived from god’s blood, there are several other ways to gain control over the veil. They are yet to be known, though it can be assumed that they will be discovered soon enough. Mortals are, afterall, curious creatures.

A ripple shook the entirety of the mortal world, not physically, but spiritually. A new energy seemed to be everywhere and in abundance, and the mortals instantly knew this to be the Arkana. They did not know what it was, but they new it was a great power, one which they could bend to their wills. While the magic was constant, the mortals who understood it only knew bits of it. Many people suddenly knew different symbols which would channel this power in a few different ways depending on how they put them together. Those with curiosity and the mental prowess which was needed to master it discovered Arkaine, the language which could be used to momentarily control the Arakna to do certain tasks. It took collaboration, but as more people shared the runes and their understanding of Arkaine, the more they were able to master the control of the Arkana.

Because knowledge became power, those that sought to condense their power would keep their knowledge secret, while others would share, and some saw to use it as a means of trade. Though the runes became a common thing as more and more people learned them, it was the spoken language of Arkaine that differentiated different individuals. While anybody could speak it, only some with the proper willpower could use it to wield the Arkana. That created a rift between those who could and those who couldn't. The difference, naturally, wasn't good or bad, merely noticeable and it only was to be taken as per an individual's predigest.
