Naruto lost generation

This is a naruto table set years in the future after most of the people from the actual shows have died. The players are genin ninja in a team set in the leaf village after another great war.

Character creation.

You get 3 bonus traits to start with
Bonus traits can be a number of things, from mastery of one of the five base elements (Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, Lightning) which will help whenever you attempt to use a jutsu of that style. A style of justu (taijustu, ninjustu, or Genjustu) that helps when using that type

Or a Kekki Genkai, which is a special bloodline skill or technique. (the Sharingan) if a player wants they can create a custom Kekki Genkai they just have to get it approved before hand.

Or a specialty justu (like shadow clones) that you have an affinity for and this trait helps when using that justu or any derived from it.

or a Special tool (like a ninja sword or nunchucks) that you have skill with, you will start with this advanced/special ninja tool and this trait boosts any rolls involving it

Lastly, if you want to be a Jinchuriki (tailed beast host) ask me and provide a good explanation for why it fits your characters roleplay.

Justu are basically spells that a ninja has access to, there is taijustu (physical skills) Genjustu (illusion skills) and ninjtsu (ninja skills)

To start each player has 2 jutsu that are listed in their notes and require power to use, while you have choice of canon and custom justu please be aware that they cannot be stronger the C class to start. Jutsu have special powers and effects.

However, If a Ninja has an element mastery bonus trait they can cast a basic justu (basically just a ranged attack) for free. or if they have a trait for a specific jutsu they can do that jutsu for free

Just as well All ninja start with basic ninja tools, and have an unlimited amount. more advanced or specialized ones need to be obtained through the story.

Melee combat, Strength, and resistance are based on might stat

Ranged combat, speed, and dexterity are based on Agility stat

Jutsu combat, perception, and willpower are based on Wisdom stat

Leveling mechanic:

You level up every 10 xp. When you level you can add 1 health or power and there are three different ways you can spend your xp. Either add a new jutsu for 5 or 10 xp or wait and spend 20 xp to add a new specialty jutsu. When you add a new jutsu or trait depending on the power of it xp will be subtracted to add it. This is good, but there is also a benefit to not adding jutsus everytime you level because randomly during the story a Npc will give players a one time chance to spend xp to add a strong jutsu. The third option is save up your xp to prestige. When you prestige you lose any traits you did not start with that are not special one time jutsus, but you can replace your starting C level jutsus for a higher grade jutsu. The prestige levels and the grade level jutsu you can now learn are listed below.

Prestige 1: xp needed 60 Grade B jutsu
prestige 2: 80 xp A class jutsu
prestige 3: 100 xp S class jutsu

Once you go prestige 3 sage mode becomes possible, but you must pay xp for each level you can not just spend 100 xp to go from prestige 0 to prestige 3.

I got some of the ideas for this game and forum from Mangojim and he helped me finish some of the work for it.
