Journal Day 1
- The party has been decreed by His Majesty to come down to his keep and stay for a few visions, there are at least 3 possible routes:-
1) North up to Faudree, then to Rettan, possibly upriver and finally to the keep. Bandits and goblins are the current known threats.
2) Take the straightforward western route to the Highlands, which is dangerous and has always been.
3) The longest and the southern route down to Watercrest. Beware of black beasts. Possible meetup with Nemara.

- The party has decided to take the Faudree route and then to Rettan, there's a couple of things for Harry to do in Faudree:-
1) Meetup with Arnaud's daughter, Ginny and pass to her a package. Ginny is at the New Faudree District next to The Stables in a place called The Bookend.
2) "Riordan" has something to do with the mystery of parent's disappearance

- Arnaud says Harry is good to go, passes to him 3 stunner arrows. (They are really costly, more than 200 gold)

All about Bruce
- Doesn't like cabbages but loves apples! and maybe melons. He snatched one once.
- But really, Bruce loves Blueberries!

Bruce will eat almost anything, though the beast doesn't seem too enthused over most of the foods offered to him. Fruits grab his attention a bit more.

- Probably clingy
- Stubborn?
- Is already used to Harry climbing up when he wants.
- Can be impatient and annoyed
- needs tugs on ears for directions
- enjoys being around people, lots of people. Sometimes not. He'd even be under the rain than crammed in a crowd
- Can be obedient when contended, like after eating an apple
- possibly a slow eater, perhaps when Harry is busy on a task away from him.
- Might not like indecisive, complicated directions to destinations.
- Likes hanging by the Guild hall
- When Harry gets visions, Bruce is aware.
- One vision is when young Bruce runs from men of Giblund, not knowing really who they were.
- Stomping hooves back and forth apparently means joy
- Too curious for what's good for him. Demonstrated by trying to actually eat a blackleaf root!
- Gets nervous and frightened, will get skittish if Harry is nowhere to be seen.
- Sometimes, impatient! when it comes to food!
- might not be fond of the sounds of steel and fighting.
- has a habit of stomping feet when emotional.
- Will shake head in frustration at the sight of raspberries.
- Loves to tease and bully
- sometimes, you cannot rely on him and may choose berries over Harry
- Bruce can be indifferent when making decisions
- Bruce enjoys music, probably foreign exotic ones
- Wary of wolves, despite his size. It could be of the traumatic experience dealing with black beasts.

On the road to Faudree
- Ambushed by bandits!
- At least one is dead.
- Castiel is missing.
- Strange old man spinning wild stories and almost hurting Bruce. At least's he's fine and not aware that he was in danger.

First Major Encounter!
- Leoreak is with us!
- Set off to look for Cast and towards our destination
- Climb a hill, Elric's farm. Cas' horse present. He must be here!
- Knock the tower gate, cue FIRST MAJOR BATTLE
- enemies, Elric the dwarf and his mook servants. All under the influence of The Black Evil.
- Cas inside, alone. We break the gate open.
- Lotsa fightin. half party inside. Dwarf drops rocks from top of tower, that bastard.
- Cas tries to block, breaks his arm and thrown aside. Oh NO!
- Soon, mooks all fall dead. Eric's soot thing crashes into the tapestries. Burns EVERYTHING!
- ...Saw a vision, of Leoreak... anger... pillage... rampage... Wanted posters everywhere.
- Suddenly, Anala... alive, tent, where? Leo smiles.
- We got out alive. Cas is hurt but overall fine.
- Looking out for Leo. Found him, he doesn't look fine, his eyes are dark black... like Black Evil... oh no... Why did he just run away from us?
- Will telling the party help? Annette was the first to go. Cas lends me his horse. Ride to... Ty-book?
- Unhelpful guard, misleading. But we found Leoreak anyways... Is he, about to kill that man?
- We stopped Leo, the Black Evil dissipates... We should look for Anala now.

Tynrbrook and Arrival at Faudree
- A good night's rest at the inn...
- Bruce is fine
- ...Welp, the innkeeper's angry. Someone's accusing Leo of his shenanigans.
- Leo is nowhere to be seen... He must have run off again...
- A lady guard came and complains about the tower being burnt down.
- After breakfast, we go to look for Leo
- ...Uh, Eric is carrying a strange axe for some reason. It looks like its hurting him, must be dangerous.
- We found Leo... and I cannot imagine what he did last night
- 3 days later, arrival at Faudree
- Time to pay for Ginny's school fees, Eric accompanies me.
- Met So-called "Heroes of Giblund". They hate mystics like Eric.
- Finally met Ginny. Wow, she's 9 years old.
- Ginny told us a secret, she doesn't want to study, she wants to go on strange voyages to Brothers' know where. We managed to convince Ginny to stay put... I think?
- Wandered into the bazaar and reunited with Cas, Azra. Cas' arm looks better. Good.
- Eric went to appraise his axe. It appears everyone else but him could wield it without hurting ourselves. Could be a sign.

When in Faudree...
- left the shop to have a look around the city... Eric is with Cas so it should be fine...
- I take Bruce for a walk. He must be hungry so we're looking to get treats for him!
- ...Bruce kicked an old Halfling lady... She was a little strange, had tattoos and carrying these small leather packages...
- She disappeared at a stall named... "Madame Ifrits?" ...I have trouble reading.
- Suddenly, music! I must go and see this!
- Performers are, this mysterious and exotic Elven woman... and her gnome friends who play the instruments.
- The first dance was great, though I never heard of it before!
- Then, she looked at me... They begin performing a familiar Ranger dance. This is strange but I keep watching. She's also wearing this wooden wolf mask... It started to rain...
- After the dance, they left the mask behind... so I took it.
- Much later, I go look for a ranger shop. Found one, keeper's name is Berwic. Bought a shortsword from him.
- I go walk around s'more, suddenly Eric is missing!
- We go on a rescue mission, turns out that kidnappers were those crazy, armored supremacists.
- ...After a long day, I head to The Stables first. Maybe it's a good time to ask about... RIORDAN

It has been a long while since I’ve last written in this journal of mine. I’ve never been a good writer. Heck! I couldn’t even read when I was 10! I’d like to say I’ve gone a long way since then, having Eric, Nem and my parents as teachers sure helped me reach to acceptable levels of literacy. Now then, where should I start?

My name is Harry, son of Conrad. I just turned 18 years this Spring. In a week’s time, I will be marrying the love of my life, Nemara, formerly of the Southern Riders. I must admit, it was quite awkward when we first met, I may have been 13 at the time? ( fabletop.com/chatlog/view/hustle/20180514 ) Anyways, the location for the wedding will be in Ferry Town, Watercrest. It will be a modest one, I am not a noble or a royal with wealth to spare after all. I’ve already sent out wedding invitations to my closest friends; Annette, Azra, Eric(very likely to come), Leoreak and to the latest addition to our group, Nora. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to extend an invitation to Castiel. We’ve been searching for the Blacklands the past couple of years and ended up ultimately fruitless. After that incident at Frostgate, it so appears my dear friend Castiel may have really vanished from this world. I’ll write more on this perhaps at a later time.

The past few years have mostly been a blur to me. I’ve mostly retired from adventuring, doing odd jobs and occasionally hunting for the most part. My focus now is to rebuild my home, and the broken relationships that were lost for most of my childhood. While it hasn’t been very exciting, I do appreciate this slower, simpler lifestyle. I’ve mentioned to Nem a few times about opening a tavern one day. Maybe we’ll call it, The Ginger Bull? I might just save enough to build our own in a couple more years.

During these peaceful times, I have been practicing my swordsmanship with diligence. Dad, being the freakin champion of Clan Faendyr was an absolutely great boon for me! Before I turned 16, I could hardly swing a short sword. But now, I wield the Blood Blade as if it was an extension of my sword-arm. The blade itself is so light that my old bow feels heavier in comparison. For years, I’ve watched my old friends Azra and Castiel spar on many different occasions. Honestly, I can’t help but feel envious back then. I wonder what they would think of me now. If I get another chance, I may even best them in close combat!

Aside from Eric who usually comes to visit me once in a while and Nora who we’ve been staying with together, I haven’t seen much of my other friends since that incident. And though they are sincerely my closest companions, I still feel I don’t know of them as much as I should. It’s beginning to feel like that first split back in Giblund! And it does makes me wonder whatever happened to the old guild house. Also, because of the political split, I may not see them often as I would like. I did throw away my allegiance from then King Bos Tau after all.

What’s next in the near future? Not much I haven’t already mentioned… Well, though it does me make me extremely nervous to discuss about, I pray to the Brothers to bless me a child of my own. Since I’m human and Nemara’s an elf, our children will inevitably be half-elf! This thought excites me! They will surely have red hair, just like me and Nem. Oh, names? Haven’t thought much about it, honestly. Maybe, Karla or Kayla if the Brothers bless me with a daughter?

And that’s as much as I’d like to write for now. Who knows when I might revisit these old journals of mine. Who would even read them?
