THE 1ST CHAPTER

In the city of Ralmenka, everything changes when a boy arrives. His name, Nick., a boy who was born with strange powers. Fire powers. He was new to the city and decided to ask a woman for directions, by accident, he trips and catches her attention, making her less aware of her purse, in which got snatched by a thief right after Nick's fall.
Accusing Nick to be a part of the crime, the guards decide to arrest him, but not before a large man named Rushu comes in to try to set things right, as he saw what really happened. Due to Rushu's unique, scaly, body, the guards only make a racist remark and shrug him off. The woman and a guard set out to catch the thief.
Angered, Rushu decides to catch the thief himself, to show them how good a Drago's race is. He hides in a bush and stares at the guard and the woman to find some clues about the thief's whereabouts... Only to be caught by the two and be called a "Stalker".
Both Nick and Rushu were arrested. Having enough of this, Rushu pepper sprays a guard. Nick couldn't contain his powers anymore and unleashed several flames, killing two guards. Since anyone who even has the slightest knowledge and power of using magic were killed long ago, Nick was to be killed right away. Knowing this, Rushu tried to protect Nick using telekinetic powers. Now both Rushu and Nick were to be killed, and they fought back to save their lives.
As they finish off that set of guards, a patrol named Hector arrives and calls for reinforcements. They prove to be too much for the two to handle and they give up. Since these guards weren't there to see Nick's fire and Rushu's psychic powers, the two were only arrested.
Two days later, a sixteen year old female travelling machinist named Gedijet decides to finish her tour of Ralmenka by visiting it's prison. As she does so, she finds Nick and Rushu who were about to be killed in an execution chamber due to the guards just finding out that they were mages.
Nick and Rushu fight back again, proving magic is too powerful against normal weapons. Gedijet attempts to escape, dropping some oil to the floor. Nick uses his fire on it and lights the entire prison up in flames. All the prisoners run away during the chaos, including Zelk, the thief who stole the purse two days ago.
Hector escapes along with a few other guard friends, and he decides to finish off Nick and Rushu outside the burning building once and for all. The prisoners, as a way to thank Nick and Rushu for helping them escape, decide to fight against the guards as well.
Soon backup arrives, and the fugitives escape. Gedijet follows along, as she's considered a criminal as well. Hector chases after. It rains soon, and the guards catch up to Gedijet and Rushu. Kaire, one of the guards, tells the two that he'll set them free if they help them catch Nick, the real dangerous one.
Hector, Gedijet, Rushu, and several other guards travel across the desert that surrounds Ralmenka.
After fighting off an Orc who attacked a wagon full of a drug called ''Pospaine". They find Nick. Nick explains to them that he's not a mage, he never learned any magic and was born with the fire. Rushu was born with it as well. The guards let them go, asking them to control their powers or else they WILL get executed. Nick doesn't believe them though and runs away again.
The rest of the group travels back to Ralmenka and return to their normal lives. From the rubble of the prison, a lich named Blackwood slowly creeps out of his cell... With a hood over his skeletal face, he escapes through the desert.

THE 2ND CHAPTER

All Blackwood wants is a chance to explore the world, get smarter, and grow stronger. Though, the loss of his human body can make that quite a challenge. He wears his hood for that very reason. Anyone who sees his face will immediately want to arrest him. Though it's not his fault.
Across the vast desert, he meets an old woman named Kiki. She runs a small shop across a road for travelers to stop by. She tells Blackwood a rumor about old ruins lying somewhere deep underground, featuring fortunes from times when magic existed. They both agree to begin an expedition there, and Blackwood decides to recruit people in the Cafe in Ralmenka.
After a bit of negotiating, the Cafe agrees to host a recruitment board notice for the expedition. Now all Blackwood needs are supplies, as he heads to the market he meets Licenti and Necrim, two illegal magic wielders. Along the way he meets Conrad, a tourist who Blackwood told to head to Hector's Mansion, getting Conrad in trouble.
Licenti and Necrim bought a bird named Pecky and a monkey named Salsa from a merchant in the market. Blackwood meets another store that ''sells rumors'' which was managed by Ronald. He leaves after knowing for sure Ronald's business was a scam.
Blackwood then bought several bombs from Mary for the expedition, since someone came by and buyed all the good armor in town. Blackwood then heads back to the cafe, as well as Necrim, and they find Rushu and Gedijet interested in the expedition. Other people who decided to join in were Pierre, an escaped prisoner from the burning prison the other day, Conrad, the tourist he met earlier who's mad at Blackwood for lying to him, and his friend Selkia, a priest that has the ability to use healing magics. Necrim decided to join in as well.
Now having a decent team set up and buying a couple of potions, Blackwood needed to figure out how to find the ruins. He turns to Ronald, and asks him if he knew anything about the location of the ruins.
Ronald said he heard of a rumor that a stone hidden in the desert could lead to the ruins by ''pulsing like a heart''. Blackwood knew nothing of this, but thought that Kiki did and so he returned to her.
Kiki knew nothing about this either, however she suggested to listen for the stone's pulsing sound to figure out where it could be. Blackwood used his magic to enhance his hearing, and the pulsing led to a couple named Eric and Ana. Eric proposes to Ana by making a bird named Pocky give her a ring with a stone crested on top. The pulsing sound led to that ring.
After faking that he'll die without the stone, Eric and Ana give Blackwood the ring, but right before that Pocky takes it and flies away. The group chases it back to the cafe, where Pocky proposes to Pecky, the bird they bought earlier.
A strange ''wedding'' occurs where the birds get married and Salsa and Pierre and the cafe and... Yeah... Well anyways, after this wedding Ana hands the ring back to Blackwood and the birds fly off.
The next day, everyone meets up at Kiki's Camp to set out for the trip. Eric joins in as well. During their search, Blackwood uses the Pulse Stone to locate the ruins, which are hidden beneath a 4000 feet deep cliff.
Nick comes back, with a black coat over him, probably in order to prevent others from knowing he's a fugitive. He quckly agrees to join in and, with the help of Rushu, takes everyone to the bottom of the cliff one by one.
Rushu ends up really tired. (After flying back and forth a few miles several times, who wouldn't?) Though, the team presses on, and they reach a large stone gate that opens through the power of the Pulse Stone. Also, the party notices strange whispers around the area.
Spirits...?
Across the gate, they reach the ruins, and split up into two teams to find as much treasure as possible.
What lurks inside? Will they make it rich?

PRE-CHAPTER 1

A few days before the events in Ralmenka, Nick was walking through a forest to get there. Along the way he came across a group of hunters and a peculiar mystery. The animals around the forest were abnormal in color, as well as their meat. With nothing edible, hunters Paul, Adam, and Sam had nearly no choice but to pack up and leave. However with the help of Nick they decided to investigate a cave up north to find the cause of all this. Ending in failure due to Paul getting injured, the group returns for the night.
The next morning another traveler named Oliver discovered the hunter's camp. Another hunter named Matthew joined in as well. With more strength and bigger numbers than before the group returns to the cave and climb to the top, where they were able to overlook the entire forest. Oliver was hoping to find a dragon up here, unfortunately all they found was a red glow and a shadowy object land near it.
Leaving the hunters behind to battle a pack of green wolves, Nick and Oliver use their powers to fly to the red glow only to find a strange group of creatures and slenderman. After a long and difficult battle, the creatures and slender both escape, with a large vessel flying over them.
The animals returned to normal after the UFO left. Sam told Oliver a dragon-like figure flew north towards Ralmenka. Both Nick and Oliver chose to travel to the city together the following day.
