Buried Alive - Geography

fortysecond Aug '15  /  edited Aug '15
If most of the inhabitants of the Graveyard are ignorant about the word "geography" itself, they soon learn enough to build themselves an internal map of their surroundings. The said map is usually made of simple divisions. First of all is the division : "Never go there" / "Avoid going there" / "Where else could you go?".
There are few areas of the Graveyard that are remarkable enough to deserve to carry a name. Here are some of them : "The Pit" is an area entirely under Hym's command. "The Veil" is the area where the Criminal Consortium gathers.
Then, there is "The Simmetary", where the streets are narrow and the population quirky. That's where many people of the occult and dark scientists take refuge from the noise and common brutality. That's where some of the strangest, most atrocious events take place. That's where the dead refuse to stay dead.
In the lowest of the lower lies "The Rotting Rat" and its population of miserable, poorer-than-poor men and women. That's where the smell of piss is the strongest, that's where the plague runs faster than anywhere else, the place Hope has never dared to visit.
