Buried Alive - The Corpsemaker

fortysecond Aug '15  /  edited Aug '15
"A sword has a voice.
Sheathed it has little to say, to be sure, but you need only put your hand on the hilt and it begins to whisper in your enemy's ear. A gentle word. A word of caution. Do you hear it?
Now, compare it to the sword half drawn. It speaks louder, does it not? It hisses a dire threat. It makes a deadly promise. Do you hear it?"
, Joe Abercrombie - "The blade itself"

The Corpsemaker is a whisper in the streets of the Graveyard.
He is the man who talks to the rats, the man who makes deals with Death itself. He is a legend and he is a fear.
What is hidden is lost to nearly everyone, but what is only half hidden becomes known and feared.
The Corpsemaker is a man half hidden, a sword half drawn. They can only hope that he never becomes the sword full drawn.
Legends are only legends and the Corpsemaker only a man. But it takes only one man to start a war.
