Cracked Teacup

fortysecond Mar '16
Sunlight and apprehension combined make your eyes frown as you walk along the muddy track.
The rythm of your boots and the last songs of birds fade as you reach base camp. Nailed to the door is an oak sign on which the face of a bearded man is painted in great details. Under the picture lie the words : "Maintenance property". You know the face is purely symbolic. Maintenance is not a single person but most probably a group of clean-shaved men in expensive suits.

You unlock the wooden door using your key and three distinct codes.
As you pull it, you are welcomed by a strong smell of dust.
The floor hasn't been swept in a long time. As you step into the hut, something creaks under your right boot. You raise your foot to see a broken china cup. The frown materializes once again on your face.
