Some Workaround Ideas
For Equipment: fabletop.com/forum/topic/6310.1/pyraks-awesome-ide... (Yeah it's not perfect, here's another variant of the same idea by Thunderstar fabletop.com/forum/topic/6322.1/weapons (we both worked together on figuring out how to get it all running smoothly)) That being said, this system, unless you modify it for doing so is not designed for having equipment as traits. Now if you're into making racial advantages and disadvantages based on the main traits, if you're applying the Main Trait upgrading part, then directly adding and subtracting from the traits won't work. There are two workarounds I have for this. - One is just restricting how high a trait can be raised (2 or 3, 1 won't work) though that's pretty limiting, limited and restrains the characters. - The other workaround I have is similar to the equipment workaround. The other way is that some races have % modifiers on their trait rolls, for example a ogre might have the Slow characteristic, which means that after rolling a Agility roll, the number is halved (and rounded to the nearest whole number) and the results post reduction is used. (come up with your own modifier names kay? I'm just figuring out mechanics, you can at least name things on your tables)
This variant gets progressively slower (not a whole lot but it does slow down)

I'll explain my exact theory later as well as add other ways to use this system.
Also as a note, Demonohell is using the set up I have on the second post so if you're from his table, scroll down.
