Pandora - Fantasy/Science Fiction Game

TL'DR: Humans wants to exploit resources on a newly discovered planet -Pandora- which already have an indigenous species that uses magic. Pandora is flooded with radiation and will kill humans who are not properly protected but Pandorans are used to it. Pandorans and Humans fight for control of Pandora.

==ABOUT PANDORA==
Pandora is the fifth moon of the gas giant Polyphemus which orbits Alpha Centauri A in the Alpha Centauri star system, the closest star system to our own sun.

==LIFE ON PANDORA==
For some mysterious reason that have baffled humans scientists, Pandora's surface is covered in some trees and animals that quite similar to Earth's, as if it's a long lost twin of planet Earth. That is not to say that all Pandora's species are an exact copy of Earth however. On the contrary, many species is unique to Pandora, some benign such as the Glow Fish, and some as dangerous as the Shocksnake.

Though there are primates like apes (and some mutant version of them), the intelligent life form on Pandora isn't human but a plethora of different species: orcs, elves, goblins to name a few. These intelligent life forms are collectively dubbed: Pandorans.

==WHY PANDORA IS VALUABLE==
But it isn't just life that made Pandora unique. Large areas of Pandora's surface is contains the extremely rare and valuable iridescent mineral Magicite. For Pandorans, this is their source of magic. Drawing power from the gems, Pandorans can shoot fire, levitate and do all manners of miraculous deeds which is only limited by the power level of their gem and the limits of their knowledge.

For humans, this mineral is a seemingly unreal source of energy, capable of generating energy from almost nothing. Magicites Engines are highly sought after and is the critical component to interstellar starships. However, mining of this new resource is hampered by the strong radiation on the surface of Pandora and the resistance of Pandorans, who don't want humans to invade their home.

==YOU ARE==
In this game, you are can be a new immigrant from Earth. Driven away from Earth because of overpopulation and pollution, you are lured by the ORA -Off-world Resource Administration: a powerful company that have a monopoly on the Magicite Trade- to Pandora with promises of a new life and new fortune to be made from Pandora's vast surface.

You can also be one of the many species of Pandorans. The humans suddenly appeared out of the sky, invading their homes, claiming scared sites as their own, taking all the magical gems for themselves. This cannot go unpunished!
