I'm a guy new to RPG who likes reading novel, manga, Choose your own adventure books and pretending that I'm a writer.
I like Fantasy or Futuristic Setting and would probably only host with those two settings. Unless someone gives me a great idea and convinces me otherwise. ;)

I really like RPG and I think that what really me to RPG is the opportunity to craft a character and a splendid story with that character. Playing RPG does not require you to be a professional writer, a film producer or a game producer to tell a story that you and other people could enjoy(though it would certainly enhance the RPG if you have experience in these jobs). That's why I always, always put my all into tables that I join. I always ask for the setting and details about the world in an effort to make a relevant and interesting character that will contribute to the game. Although that might come across as annoying to some, I am only doing that out of goodwill and I hope they will not take offence.

That being said, did you read all of that? I'm flattered :)
