1. Style
1. I'm more of a writer, so pretty much anything that messes that up "goes away".
2. Less is more, including systems/rules/mechanics. "Don't have two when one will do."
1. Not fond of gratuity, and suggestion/implication is far more effective than staying in pre-k with crayons and finger-paints. "Suggest, then show, and tell if the first two don't work."
3. I'll take a steady ox over a thoroughbred any day; skills are far easier to acquire than character.
