Hey, chemgas650 here, you can call me chem. When I'm not playing on a table, or being a GM, I'm an extremely honest and transparent person, even online! Some may say it's unsafe, but I've had accounts of mine hacked before, and so I say what I say online with the knowledge of what people could use that info to do. Beyond that, I'm really friendly almost all the time, happy to help new players whenever they arrive! I even want to eventually become one of the devs/mods/staff/whatever you people like to call yourselves for this site. Now, I can get very stubborn and close-minded when I'm arguing, but just give me time (and PLEASE, drop an argument or a topic when I ask you to, it's my way of saying I'm about to reach my breaking point) to cool down, and I'll be all ears for your side of things.
The forums for The Darkness, along with my other rarely hosted game, "Endless War", are always open to replies and suggestions. If you reply to a forum and then see your comment has been deleted, just know that it's my way of knowing that I've seen your comment, and have either put it into the game or have (sadly) rejected the suggestion for certain reasons.
As for my hosting schedule, I can be very random. Sometimes I can host an all-day session if I wanted. Other times, I can't host at all! I do my best to host as much as possible, and when I don't host its either because I got EXTREMELY bored of hosting (don't worry, I'll swing back around quickly), because something came up that stopped me from hosting, or because I'm on some sort of trip. When I have a schedule that I know I can stick to easily, it will be posted on the main page below where the tables go (where everyone else posts their table advertisements).
When it comes to playstyle, I am a very different person as a player and as a GM. As a GM, I do my best to listen to the players' feedback, and to remember to do everything I need to do in the games I run. I do use GMPCs (Game Master Player Characters, for those who don't know) in my games, but I do my best to run games with zero GMPC bias. I encourage players to call me out on things I forget to do as a GM, and on mistakes I make as a GM. Calling me out is the best way for me to learn to fix my routine (even though I might get a bit mad when you call me out, I still encourage you to do it).
As a roleplayer, I tend to go down a darker route. I roleplay best as some kind of insane, posessed, or even schizophrenic characters. Anything that seems demented and evil, I'm all for. If that isn't an option, I can also roleplay werewolves and vampires really well. I play female characters quite often (I'm a male), and that almost always goes well. Other roles I can do just as well, but it just isn't as immersive on my end.
When it comes to actual gameplay, I usually stick to either being a Necromancer or Pyromancer if magic is a thing, or I will quite often be a long distance archer. I prefer trying to use summons and AOE (area of effect if you don't know) spells to hit as many enemies as possible in quick succession when being a mage. As an archer, I stick with a good routine of scout, relay, shoot, loot, run.
